Bonny Wood Guitars is a small, independent workshop in the heart of Scotland, dedicated to building, repairing and upgrading instruments with character, honesty, and soul. Every guitar build that leaves the bench is shaped by hand, guided by decades of practical experience, and finished with the same care you’d give to a lifelong companion.

What began as a personal creative outlet in August 2018 has grown into a focused craft: blending traditional woodworking with modern ideas, experimenting with tone woods, finishes, and hardware, and celebrating the individuality of each build. From bold, modern shapes like the BC Rich–inspired Warlock to classic designs such as the Les Paul Junior double cut, every project is approached with patience, curiosity, and respect for the materials.

Bonny Wood Guitars isn’t a factory line. There’s no rush, no shortcuts, and no two instruments are ever the same. Each build is documented from the first cut to the final polish, capturing the story behind the guitar — the choices, the challenges, and the small victories along the way.
